This is a sweet and savory glazed pork chop that you cook in the skillet. If you have thick pork chops you might need to finish them in the oven at 350 degrees until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees. This pairs well with our Sweet and Savory Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots.
- 4 boneless pork chops 1-2 inches thick
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt.

Rub the seasoning mix over all sides of each pork chop.

Heat the olive oil in a large, oven safe skillet over on medium heat. When your oil begins to shimmer, add your pork chops.

Cook the pork chops for about 5 minutes on each side until nicely browned.

If your pork chops are more than one inch thick, finish cooking the pork chops in the oven at 350 degrees for another 5-10 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 145ºF.

Dredge your pork chops through the sauce in the bottom of the pan just before serving.
