Place the bread crumbs on the bottom of the pie shell.
Grate the swiss cheese and combine with the onions and flour.
Place the mixture in the pie shell on top of the bread crumbs.
Top with crumbed bacon.
Beat the eggs. Add parmesan cheese, half and half and pepper. Mix well. Pour over cheese and onion mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, or until done.
Wait 5 minutes before cutting. Serve hot.
