Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Empty contents of two cans of sour pitted cherries into 9 inch pan.
Sprinkle coconut and white cake mix over the top.
Pour melted butter completely over the top of the cake mix, but be sure not to saturate.
Cover with finely crushed nuts.
Cook at 350 degrees for one hour. Check at 45 minutes in case your oven runs fast.
