- 2 1/2 – 3 lbs. apples (peeled, cored and diced)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
- 3/4 cup flour

Fill 9" pie plate 1/2 full of apples. Cover with white sugar and cinnamon.

Mix butter, brown sugar, oats and flour together. Press mixture down on top of the apples.

Bake at 350 degrees until apples are tender and topping is browned, about 45 minutes.

Top with vanilla ice cream.
