- 3-4 very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup nuts

Cream the shortening and sugar.

Add eggs and banana. Stir to combine.

Add the flour and baking soda and stir.

Fold in the nuts.

Pour into two small or one large loaf pan, filling halfway.

Bake at 250 degrees for 40 minutes.
