- 1 bag baby carrots
- 1 lump of butter
- 3/4 tsp. sugar
- salt to taste

Cover carrots with water in small pot and bring to a boil.

Turn down to medium/low and cook for 15-20 minutes for thick carrots or about 12 minutes for thin. If fork goes through a carrot easily, then it is done.

Add a lump of butter and sprinkle with salt.

Add the sugar and stir. You can add pepper if you want.
