- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 packets yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 5 cups flour
- softened margarine
- brown sugar (to taste)
- cinnamon (to taste)
- chopped pecans (optional)
- raisins (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 Tbsp. heavy cream (can substitute milk or half and half)

Mix all ingredients well. Let rise in same bowl.

Roll out onto floured board. Dough will be very sticky, additional flour may be needed.

Spread softened margarine over the top.

Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the top.

Add pecans and/or raisins if desired.

Roll up the dough and chill.

Slice with serrated knife.

Place on cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes and 350 degrees.

Combine your melted butter, vanilla and milk in a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth while sifting in your powdered sugar.

Drizzle icing over the top of your cinnamon rolls. Serve hot.
