Cake Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa PLUS enough Nesquick chocolate powder to equal 1/4 cup when combined
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Icing Ingredients
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa PLUS enough Nesquick chocolate powder to make 1/4 cup when combined
- 6 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Instructions

Simmer butter, water, buttermilk, and cocoa with Nesquick until thoroughly mixed.

In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, self-rising flour, baking soda and vanilla.

Pour cocoa mixture and peanut butter into the flour mixture.

Beat mixture until smooth.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before adding icing.
Icing instructions

Mix all icing ingredients until creamy. Spread on cake and serve.
